"MUSICA" CD RELEASE SETS LOCAL ATTENDANCE RECORD AT HOUSE OF BLUES
We're stoked to announce that the JunkieRush CD release party on August 29 broke the local attendance record for the Orlando House of Blues with a final tally of 2,344 people. We want to say THANK YOU so much for everyone who came out to the show for all of your energy, all of the other bands for their great performances, all of you who wanted to come but couldn't for sending your best wishes, and to YOU if you're too far away but would have come if it was closer!

And thanks so much to everyone who sent us their great feedback about "Musica". We're proud of it so we're glad that you like it too. And if you didn't like it, thanks for not telling us that it sucks! It will be available soon at cdbaby.com and iTunes once they have the webpage set up for it.

OUR SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12 SHOW AT THE HUSTLER (INDIATLANTIC FL) HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE CHILI PEPPER IN COCOA BEACH. We're sorry if this is an inconvenience for anyone... anyone other than us that is ;)

CD RELEASE PARTY AT HOUSE OF BLUES IN ORLANDO
Our 3rd studio CD "Musica" is finally here! So come on out to the House Of Blues in Orlando on Saturday August 29 and pick up a copy. Also on the bill are B-Liminal (having a CD release of their own), Afterglow Radio, Social Ghost and 50 Foot Ordinance. Doors are at 7pm, all ages welcome. FREE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE! We sure could use your vote to help win this thing (1st prize is @ $5000 in cash and prizes and a slot on Earthday Birthday opening for 311). Hey Guys! Thanks to everyone that voted for Junkie Rush the first round of 101.1 WJRR's Best Band in Orlando contest! We made it to the top 16 out of around 500 bands. The "JR ORCHESTRA" & More Dates With JIMMIE'S CHICKEN SHACK

OK, it's not really an orchestra but we are enlisting a three piece horn section for our next performance at the Social (Orlando) on Friday May 2. We'll also be breaking out a couple of brand new songs from our upcoming CD and a couple you probably haven't heard in a while, so this one's definitely worth coming out for! Also appearing are Afterglow Radio and Bootleg. Doors are early for this one (8pm) and the music starts @9. $10 21+ welcome.

Also, we're happy to be doing three more dates in May with Jimmie's Chicken Shack (Orlando, New Port Richey and Melbourne). Also appearing is Cori Yarckin and Social Ghost. Go to our show page for venue listing and location.
